I am an avid BB user and fan. I have a BB tour and I cannot live without it and I use every single application on my phone from the powerpoint, to the BBM, to the facebook (love it) app. I have a crackberry problem!

iPhone iPhone iPhone!  Especially with the new one just announced today – it will be coming out June 24th and is $199 for a 16g and $299 for 32g.  It looks like it will be amazing!!!  Or you can get the iPhone3GS, the one that was the latest to come out for $99 and do the software upgrade, though it still wont have all the functions of the iPhone 4, like the video chat, better viewing, etc.  I was reluctant to get an iPhone and did last year and LOVE it!  I hate blackberries (my fingers cant type quick enough or accurate enough on them)  Plus I can view WB on the iPhone and comment on stuff no problem!

FYI – if your husband already has an iPhone with the $30 unlimited data package, as long as you renew your contract when its up and keep the same minutes plan, you can keep the $30 unlimited.  It will only be $15/25 for new people or those that decide to change their plan on their own.  If you already have it you are “grandfathered” in.

@amanda.lynn – – me too…FH has the newest Palm Pre and I have the Palm Pixi and I absolutely heart mine too, LOL….

To answer the OP – – I am far from tech savvy.  I wouldn’t know what to do with a BB and/or an iphone. All I want to do is check my email, catch up on facebook, text, take pictures, and send/receive phone calls.  The Palm Pixi is perfect for my speed, LOL… FH has the latest Palm Pre and he has downloaded all sorts of apps. Its beyond me. We are Sprint users so the iphone isn’t an option for us. After researching $$ we found that Spring was the best for us.  Our monthly bill for the two phones w/ unlimited data, unlimited text pretty much all the bells and whistles is roughly $116/month.  We couldn’t find anything to beat that….Thus we have and are proud supporters of Palms Laughing

I beleive the Droid is only available through Verizon. I have had ATT since high school also so I know what you mean 🙂  they are dropping the 3GS to $99, I believe on June 24th when the new ones come out.  So if you dont care about the newest features that is the way to go!  For me I think the $15 plan would be enough.  Darling Husband checked his data and he would definitely need the $25 plan or pay more each month. Im glad we are grandfathered in and can keep our $30/month plan!  Your Darling Husband might want a 3GS too, especially since most of the software upgrades to apply to the 3G anymore and they are starting to discontinue them.  But if hes not tech savvy he may not care 🙂

ETA- Yep they announced today there would be a Farmville app and a Netflix app. I was super bored at work and intrigued so I followed a live blog about the conference and the new phone haha
