Hey! What a fun and diverse list.  Did you just bounce around from one genre to another or did you play similar styles together?  It’s great that your husband took charge of that task and even better that he did a fantastic job.

Thanks again for sharing!

Sweet list.  I totally got excited when I saw you played The Beatles.

J wants a wedding singer to do 80s songs.  I wouldn’t mind that either, but it’s not in our budget.  I think 80s hits will have to do.  Hahaha.

This is awesome CorgiTales! I would love to see what you used for cocktail hour and dinner as I’m currently making a playlist for our cocktail reception which won’t have dancing, so I’d love some more music ideas.

I love this list and how you guys took the time to arrange it strategically. I think we are going to take a request list from some of our guests ahead of time and incorporate those songs into the playlist.

@CorgiTales: Thanks, that would be great! No hurry though!

@coastalshell: I’m also requesting songs from guests on our website. I can’t wait to see what people request, hopefully people do request something.

This is a good list… I love country but Fiance is not a huge fan except when it sounds good in his truck!  Our first song will be Little Big Town “Bring it on home to me”  if you havent heard it yet you should and Usher “Yeah is a must haha thanks for sharing again!

@CorgiTales: Awesome list!  What a fun wedding!

@pohget: and @coastalshell: We’re making requests on our site too and it took awhile to start getting requests, but now we are getting a bunch!  We’re doing a “what was your first dance song” kind of thing and people are writing theirs and then coming back to say “Ooh!  You know what my parents danced to?  Play that too!”  It’s fun!  We aren’t having dancing, just music during the evening so a bunch of slow songs works for us… as long as we retain veto power.

Very nice! Love the variety! You may have inspired me to say screw it on the DJ!

We were thinking about doing an mp3 player for our music…but got discouraged when we thought about how things would move along (no MC), and whether people would be crowded around an mp3 player changing music midway through songs, etc.  Any problems with that?  Also, how long did your playlist last?
