The only "irridescent taffeta" I am aware of is when a regular taffeta dress is overlaid with an outer layer of irridescent organza. Is that what you mean?

My bridesmaids dresses were by Jasmine B2 and they had an overlay of organza that was a slight irridescence to it. The material was great – it didn’t wrinkle at all, survived the pouring rain just fine, and was by FAR the nicest material of all the dresses the girls tried on. It was sturdy and had a nice heft to it without being "crunchy" if that makes any sense.

snmcdowell, i’ve been checking out the jasmine lines… what was the main material – was it all organza? sounds like a great option…
