Do NOT steam them. Water will stain silk and steam=water.

Silk can be ironed on a low setting. Test on a part of the dress that won’t be obvious (or a scrap from alterations, if you have them). You may also want to use a press cloth (a peice of thin cotton fabric) for further protection.

When you arrive, remove the dresses from luggage/garment bags and hang up. Most of the wrinkles should fall out on their own.
