Haha. Yes. One post by my cousin’s husband about how sick and tired he is about seeing complaints on facebook (a complaint in itself). The NEXT DAY he posts “FML.” Which was taken down later, I’m assuming, because he got raked for it.

@honie309:  I also know someone who does the “Say it to my face” types of posts. Or belongs to fake Facebook groups like, *If I could punch you and not get arrested I would*. Trashy drama stuff. Unfortunately, it seems it’s usually women doing these aggressive things on social media profiles.

A coworker posts multiple times every day about how miserable and horrible it is to be pregnant (she’s 18 weeks) but then comes to work and complains about how our pregnant patients are all “too busy whining and not enjoying the processes of growing life”.

She makes me shake my head everytime.

Mother-In-Law is a true master of irony…she talks a lot of crap about people, especially family, but then will act all angelic and loving to them on Facebook. One day you’re dead to her, a few months later all her thoughts are prayers are with you and she misses you so much. She flips back and forth between saying karma is a bitch in reference to her cousin who lost her home and then will talk nicely about them later as if she didn’t say anything horrible. She’s also like this with my SIL. One minute it’s “mommy loves my sweet little girl (referring to SIL)” then it’s “I’ve decided to cut this person (SIL) out of my life it feels so good to not be bothered by this person”.

She also posts and shares stuff about my BIL’s possible biological relatives, but she was soooo nasty to my husband after he met his birthparents to the point where he can’t be friends with his birthmother and grandmother on FB because she’ll flip out. There’s always a double standard and she’s always been so much nicer to my Brother-In-Law.

The most recent of ironies though, is Mother-In-Law posting a few weeks ago that it was her last day at work as she has retired. According to my husband, she’s posted that she was retiring on FB a few times in the past few years. She hasn’t retired yet, otherwise she wouldn’t still be asking us and other family to visit for the holidays to accomodate her schedule even though H and I both work full time.

I have a friend who constantly vents and about her son because he cries like a beast, but then posts things like “My <3” under pics of him etc, and makes updates about how cute he is. It’s not ironic, per se, but it just goes to show how misleading Facebook can be about the reality of your life. According to Facebook, he’s a bundle of joy and she doesn’t know what she’d do without him.

I know she loves him, but she mostly doesn’t enjoy him. He is a real handful. Hopefully he’ll be easier when he gets a bit older. He’s not even one yet.

Ya’ll remember my crazy aunt who faked her own engagement the day Darling Husband and I announced our engagement on FB to all of our friends?

Now she has always posted religious quotes on Facebook, all the time. She puts everyone down for anything and everything, including doing things she does all the time..According to her Im a muslim loving socialist because I didnt tell her who I voted for. Recently as in yesterday, my mom called me to log into her fb to see what crazy aunt was up to. So I log into my mom’s facebook and cray cray Aunt was posting all kinds of post and commenting some really nasty things to everyone.

Then she post this.

OMG!! Remember that guy I told yall about from the bar last week that I took home…I forgot his name the next morning well ran into him at the store and he wants to hook up with me again.

Ten Minutes later she is ranting about what a whore her ex sister in law is because she is dating a guy that was friends with her deceased husband.

I HATE selfies, biggest pet peeve of all time. I’ve posted a few funny gifs or someecards adressing the topic of selfies and every. single. time the WORST selfie offenders on my fb that these posts are directed towards like it and comment how funny it is. Like um really?! I’m mocking YOU!  I think that proves my theory of how self absorbed people who take selfies are!

@alyssaC:  Actually, yes. A friend upset about something that she, honestly, would have let roll off her back a year ago and was suddenly just ‘devastated’ about. Oh. OK.

And then the one that makes her personal life her status updates and then gets pissed when people comment on it and don’t agree, or voice their opinion. She gets all defensive and tells people to mind their own business and blah blah. Yea I deleted that one recently. Drama drama drama!

@MrsWBS:  +1!

I, too, have done this with similar results. 😉 My “favorite” selfies are the ones that look NOTHING like the person in reality. Please! We’ve all seen the tagged photos!

Someone on my friends list who didn’t go to college posted this, then another person who also didn’t go to college and has two children who BOTH dropped out of high school liked it and shared it on her wall too:
