brideandblue :  can’t be sure unless you track you cycle via BBT. Could just be a late ovulation.

I understand late to be the first day after your longest cycle. Have you tested? If it’s negative it’s very possible you ovulated later than expected and AF is on the way.

Given your irregularity and your pattern of very short cycles, I’d recommend you begin charting using a basal body temperature thermometer and an app like Fertility Friend. This will allow you to determine when you are ovulating and how long your luteal phase is. That’s going to provide you with key insight as to what’s going on.

brideandblue :  if you’re truly “late”, a pregnancy test will be positive if you are pregnant (no matter how much water you drink).  I’d wait a week and test again if your period does not come.
