In January, I went off birth control. My period came back immediately, and the 12th of every month I would get it. I felt amazing, because I never had a consistent period before.
Now last month my period came on the 13th, and it was heavier than usual and I had cramping. This past week it came on the 14th and I was so sick with cramps that I was rotating from the bathroom floor, to the toilet, to the trash can doing a variety of bodily functions. Then last night I was awake in the middle of the night puking…can’t figure out if it was from my period or what. Today my period is virtually gone…so it was here for two days of misery instead of my usual 5 or 6 days of light bleeding with no cramps?! WTF!! I’m starting to fear that my period is going from predictible and light to heavy and unpredictable.
Why are things changing now? Am I just experiencing normal “cycles” for the first time ever and just am not used to it or is it something more than that? I am supposed to go to the gyno for something unrelated at the end of the month and I am going to talk to him then, but in the meantime if anyone has any ideas that would be great. As I type this I feel like I might puke again!
