Well bees I have not done anything these last 2 weeks wedding related (Other than going to the gym) I should be getting everything ready for my invitations but I keep putting it off…. Whats wrong with me!? I guess its a little bit of being unmotivated and I keep telling myself I have time, I never wanted to be the bride to do everything last minute and I always wanted to be at least a month ahead but now i’m just feeling down and a little irritated with myself!…

Same here, and we’re date twins. I think we’re in the same lull. Just make yourself do something, usually that works for me.

I feel the same way. I need to start figuring out invites, and I am just so intimidated by the project I keep putting it off. And there are a ton of other items on the to-do list that I’ve been avoiding as well.

I know how you feel – seems like planning and preparing just drags on endlessly. And without weddingbee, it would be very lonely for me, too! (No one really cares as much as you do about obscure wedding details or questions…)
Maybe if you just give yourself mental permission to take a little more ‘time off’ from planning, like a holiday, and then tell yourself you’ll jump back in more refreshed you’d feel better. Instead of kicking yourself over it.

You guys have PLENTY of time!!! Please believe me. My wedding is just 2 weeks before yalls and I havent ordered invitations yet. I have gotten sample invitations but have not actually started the process with the etsy seller yet. Honestly, even if you wait 1+ month you are not behind schedule!!! It WILL all get done!

I made a timeline of things I should get done every month, that helped me out a little bit!

I think that you have plenty of time, and if you need a little break you should take one. Your sanity is a valuable thing! 🙂

@Jordynrose- Thank you! the 2 weeks may be a little deceiving because that was the first and last time I did anything wedding related this month so I pretty much got one task done all month, it was a big task to me (found my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses) but thats why I have been feeling unproductive.
