psh I hope not since I have 2 wedding bands! I like symmetry so as long as they aren’t like 6mm each or something, you should be in great shape!

I’m getting mine soldered together but they’re only like 1/3 diamonds. You shouldn’t get eternity bands soldered because then the same areas hit stuff making the diamonds more likely to come loose. You might want to do a 1/2 diamond band so you can solder them AND save $$!

BEAUTIFUL RING, btw!

Too self-indulgent? Meh. You can get inexpensive wedding bands. I have two diamond bands and I don’t consider myself having been reckless in this economy by any means.

I haven’t seen eternity bands that look bad with any ring! i think they go with everything personally =]

You could always do two half-eternity bands, though. It makes them easier to resize but gives the illusion of a full band. Then you don’t worry about banging the bottom side of it.

Here’s a picture…

Even though they’re both my size they’re tight because the thicker the ring, the bigger you have to go. I’m getting them sized up when they get soldered together. If you go with 2 bands you might have to resize your ring up a 1/4 or 1/2 size.

I’m doing two bands. We went and tried on wedding bands and I liked the symmetry of a band on each side. Fiance liked it too, my ring is a princess solitaire with no diamonds on the band so he liked the added sparkle.

I like the two bands together as well without my ring, since I’m going to be an RN- I haven’t worn my ring to clinicals, but would like to wear the bands when we are married.

I am getting the one band for our wedding and I am REALLY hoping that my Fiance buys the second one for our 1 year anniversary or something.

@kjpugs I have the same problem too!  with one band on it’s fine, but once that third band is added I have a mini-muffin top on my finger….I am waiting to get them sized though because I know when I am at my normal weight my fingers tend to be a bit smaller…I agree too that the bands don’t have to be too pricey either..I would also prob steer you away from eternity bands because I heard they can’t really be resized since the diamonds go all the way around.

I’m doing 2 wedding bands also!  We’re having 2 ceremonies (church and beach) so I thought it was appropriate to signify them both!!  Besides a little more bling doesn’t hurt!

Unnecessary? Sure.

Fabulous? Absolutely!!!!

I love the look and symmetry of two bands – I say, if you can swing it, go for it!

I am considering having 2 bands.  But I like the idea of having one for your wedding and one for your first child.
