I know my wedding isn’t until July but with it being at the VERY beginning of the month I don’t condiser it 4 months away. And June will be a cousins wedding and last minute cramming but May will be graduation month and I don’t want to risk messing that up so April is our best time. April 10th to be exact. 3 months to the day before our wedding. So, A) as a guest would you feel like that was too far in advance and B) is 3 weeks enough time to plan and send out invites?

We’re more than likely having my shower about 4 months before since that’s the best time that will work for everyone. At first I thought it was too early but the hive has assured me that it’s not. As for planning in 3 weeks, if your not planning anything crazy I think it’s do-able. My main concern would be getting invites made and sent out asap.

I know that my wedding is July 15, my shower is April 3, and they met to plan and write out invites around March 5. I think you’re okay – most people don’t buy gifts til the week of anyway 😉

So buying invites on Shutterfly and having then shipped probably isn’t the best idea…

My sister and SIL planned mine, probably in less then 3 weeks. They also planned my bachelorette party the week before we went, and it was a major thing, a surprise trip. I think it just depends if the people planning it have time to do it quickly.

@Mrs Hedgehog: Eh, unless you can get overnight or like 2 day shipping, probably not. I normally prefer to receive invites atleast 2 weeks before the event, so you’re cutting it close.
