(Closed) Is 5 Bridesmaids too many? 10 in our Bridal Party (POLL)

    5 is not too many at all! I have 7 actually haha. But i grew up elsewhere,s o I have a couple close friends from my hometown and have made new friends where I’ve been the last 11 years and then his sister.

    I don’t think five is too many at all! In most cases, it’s a good idea to include your siblings in your wedding somehow, IMO. I’ve seen far too much drama when siblings are excluded.

    ETA: I also don’t think it’s a good idea to promise people they can be godparents before you’re even pregnant. I know this is your sibling, but you never know how relationships will change over time. Plus, it doesn’t hold the same honor when it’s a hypothetical.

    How big is your wedding? If you’re having an intimate wedding, 5 on each side can seem like a lot, but if your wedding has 100 people, 5 on each side isn’t ridiculous. Whatever you decide, I would *not* bring up the idea of them being godparents until you’re already pregnant. You never know what life will throw at you down the line.
