if it’s a round diamond, the difference will be about 0.4 mm depending if the cuts are the same.

It is def a big difference, but if 2 ct is in your budget, I would go for that, depending on the cost of adding gold. You might be glad you did in the future.

There is a BIG difference between a 1 ct and a 1.75. It will def be noticeable and will look beautiful!

I wear a 4.75 ring size and mine is a 1.85 carat with another .5 carat in small stones on the band.  It looks huge on my finger.  I think you would be happy with that large of an upgrade.  Just shoot for over 2 carat on the 5 yr anniversary 🙂
