    Black is my favorite color… I even have a black stone in my e-ring!

    Black isn’t morbid if it isn’t used in a morbid way.

    I personally really like the look of white on black. I think it looks very elegant, definitely not morbid.

    In Western culture, black usually signifies mourning.  In other cultures, it does not.  In any case, I would go with a red or white aisle runner, but go with what you feel most comfortable.
