So, I have a champagne-colored dress I got a while ago and it’s okay but I just picked up a great black dress with ruffles on the neck line and I really love it.
For the rehearsal and dinner, what do you think about wearing black?
Thanks for the advice!

I think black is pretty much always appropriate!

One of the dresses I’m thinking about a simple tiered chiffon dress from Express. If I do go with it I plan to wear a red cardigan over it to give it some pop! 🙂 And the dress is strapless and restaurant AC always makes me freezing!

I told my friend this last night and she was like “you are always in black.” Which is true, I am plus sized so I wear a lot of dark colors.
But with my fair skin, the champagne color is not the most flattering.

It’s your dinner… wear what you feel comfortable! Get some bling to spice it up!

Yes! I wore black to my rehearsal dinner. I also wore gray heels and as it got chilly outdoors, I added a light pink cardigan. You can always accessorize with lighter colors like that to bringten up your look. Go for it!!
