That is very chic looking. It looks like there are some coral roses mixed into the bouquet. Maybe if you used orange and coral/orangey-pink that would take it away from being Halloween. Also using a brighter accent color would help it look less fall like

I like it as well.  I think Cole B has a great idea about adding in some coral colored flowers.  I also wonder how it would like with a little hint of yellow.

I think orange is okay, but if you use too much black I DO think it will come off as halloweeny. If you love orange maybe pair it with white (just small touches of black) and maybe grey/silver?

I was going to suggest the same thing as Corgi…I think just the black and orange would be too much like halloween. However, I think it will look fabulous if you added in some white into the reception decor. Plus with the bridesmaids and the groomsmen in black I am thinking everybody would sort of run together in photos? I would have to see a group picture though to say for sure.

I don’t think of Halloween with this picture, but definitely of fall. What season are you thinking of using this in? The suggestions of coral and yellow would definitely open it up, season-wise. 🙂

I don’t think it is. As long as you stay away from elements such as pumpkins, witches, etc that are associated with Halloween/fall, the color scheme works fine any time of the year. Orange is found in nature year round and black is not a seasonal color either.

@jwinnings…OK…I am sold. I think the peaches and corals in the floral arrangements totally keep it from being too “halloweeny”. I like…

aw that picture is lovely! I don’t think it looks too halloweeny…but maybe I shall steal the idea 😛 my favorite flower is the tiger lily also, and I’m getting married the day before halloween so it would work either way 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!
