Yes.  Color is enough.  Those colors are going to look lovely together.   🙂

I think just having a color theme is more than enough. I went to a wedding once where they went all out and had an intense, intricately planned theme. In the end, it felt more like a birthday party than a wedding. While its fine to have an overall or unique theme, you shouldn’t feel obligated to do so.

A color palette will be more than adequate. If you do decide to incorporate any of your personal interests, you can always do it within your palette.

It’s not a kids’ birthday party- it doesn’t need a theme. I think that just helps some people when making decisions about buying and whatnot, but just choosing colors is plenty.

I think if you have some inspiration pictures or a general FEEL you want, that is a great starting place (for example, “I want it to feel fresh, clean, and minimal” or “I want it to feel luxurious, intimate, and elegant” or “relaxed, romantic and vintage”). Choose a few adjectives (the more descriptive the better!) about how you want your day to feel and it will help when you are making choices to get a cohesive feel for the day.
