Beegritte:  I HATED my first hair/makeup trial! If I had gone with that company for my wedding day and not had the trial first, I would have been *so* upset, honestly. They were rude, took forever, were not that skilled, make me look like a stranger and disregarded or didn’t understand what I wanted.

I ended up finding another H/MU company, had a trial with them, which I adored, and they were fabulous, FABULOUS, on the day of. Quick, friendly, skillful, and they LISTENED to me. Worth every penny for both of those trials!

Oh yes, it is a must! I had a trail and ended up changing my mind at the last min and had another trail and found what I loved.

I don’t wear a lot of make up normally, so I think that having a trial done is important for me to personally see what everything will look like on the day of. I had my make up professionally done for our engagement party and I was okay with the final look, but my face photographed very white in the flash. So I’m unhappy with a lot of the photos that we got at the party, although I know I looked fine in person. Basically, the girl didn’t use the right foundation. I won’t be using the same business for my wedding, but I definitely want to make sure that something similar doesn’t happen. I will probably book my trial in for a day that I have something on so that it doesn’t feel like a “waste” lol.

I didn’t have one.  I hired my MUA kind of last minute and couldn’t work it in my schedule.  I wasn’t the least bit nervous about it either. Everything turned out fine.
