I am having an outdoor wedding and want to have photo booth to have something fun for our guests to do at the wedding, while still capturing great photos of all our friends and family. I liked the idea that we get one strip and they get one to take home. Is this enough to count as a favor or should we still do something else? I hate the idea of something someone will never use.

As I think favors are completely unnecessary, a photo strip would be a great favor, far better than some piece of junk that is thrown out or left behind.

@NikkiChic: I would be okay with a photo strip! I love those booths.
I honestly don’t really care about favours, and I never miss them when weddings don’t have them. So don’t feel that you have to have something extra.

I think it’s a very practical favor as the guests will for sure keep it and remember your special day! Some couples make small framed signs and place them per table so the guests would know it’s your favor. Something like this is actually cute:

I think it’s a good favor. Most people agree that other favors can be a waste unless they are edible so I think it’s great.

@summerSmile: I really like the idea of the sign, thank you, makes a lot of sense so people know what to do and that we want them to take a strip home. Thanks! 🙂

Photobooths are my favorite favors! 🙂

Yes. Favors aren’t necessary and photos are always nice to have. If you’re going to give somethimg, a photo strip sounds great.

I’d rather have a photo strip than something I would throw away! I love photo booths.

We attended a wedding recently that had a photobooth, and my photostrip is framed and displayed on our picture shelf. I can’t for the life of me remember if they had a second favor or not. So if they did, it was wasted on me, but I LOVE the photobooth strip.

We’re planning on having the photobooth photos as the favours. The name card holders are mini photo frames which guests can take and place one of the photos they love inside.
Obviously, I think it’s a great idea!

There’s nothing that says you have to have any sort of favor. I think people would prefer a photo booth and a nice meal or cake to mediocre meal/cake and a tchotchke. So I certainly wouldn’t allocate any more of your budget to additional favors.
