Personally I absolutely LOVE my little Ering. I love the fact that I can wear it at all times and not worry that I am going to bang it on things and knock the diamond. I have very skinny fingers so it is perfect for me 🙂

I just bought my wedding ring and it is quite blingy so I feel it makes up for not having a massive diamond.

Here is my ering with the wedding band.

I have a small diamond! It’s an antique Art Deco piece and I love it. It’s definately under fifty I’d say .3-.4.

This is probably an uber late response, but I just got engaged over the holidays and I’m still on cloud nine!  It is defintely ok to have a smaller diamond–it should be up to the couple and what they can handle financially.  I wasn’t comfortable with him spending over $6k for a 1 carat and gave him alternative stones–but he insisted on getting a diamond (its his birthstone).  I love what he picked out.  Mine is .40 center radiant–1 carat total weight.  I’m a size 7.75–but the ring is a size 8.  It’s perfect (for me)–nothing ostentatious, elegant and packs a ton of sparkle.

isabellej18:  Mine is almost 1/3.  The center stone is .28 carats (over .5 TCW) and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

it defiently is ok to have a “small” diamond, tho i dont  believe theres such thing as that. You shouldnnt break bank trying to  buy a diamond.

my center stone is 1/3 tcw is is a  little over a half ct.

Of course it is! I love small stones that shine really brightly. Mine is .38 carats and colorless. Just a quick cell phone picture, but here it is (catching a bit of the orange chair I’m in in class)
