I thought that I would have wanted a larger diamond but when I found this one it sparkled so much and didnt even compare to the other larger lower quality diamonds we could afford. I love my .22 carat diamond and I think if I had gone larger I wouldn’t have been happy. I have a size 7.5 finger.

It’s beautiful and very proportional, makes a classic statement. Welcome to WB btw

A smaller diamond is perfectly fine the way they make rings today a small ring looks big its all abou the way its designed. I have a .20 carat engagement ring with double bands around it was inexpensive but it shines better than some of the bigger rings i’ve seen i love it!

People are crazy about diamond sizes! I absolutely LOVE my ring. I think it’s a size 4 but it was purchased in Poland and they didn’t speak any English in the shop when I had it resized :). I think it’s probably 0.10 carat.

Well this is an old thread but here’s a set I love 🙂 not my e-ring / set just a combo I was trying. The diamond is one my father gave me years ago. I’ve been looking at large-ish moissy’s because I love the sparkle and think the ?~1.5ct size – but this would be so sensible and easy to wear every day, and isn’t it gorgeous!

BUY USED DIAMONDS seriously. The savings is mind blowing. So you can go to a pawn shop (what we did) you can go to a small jewler that does trade ins or sells estate pieces. We paid $1,300 for my ring with has a 1 carat center stone, and even if I wanted to reset it in a new wedding set I could do that for another $1,000. I had my ring appraised at around $7,500. I am going to take it back to have it officially appraised to insure it. Also Diamond bistro is really cool! I also really love cluster rings.

Of course it is! Anything that you love is okay. Have you considered moissanite or another white, sparkly stone? You could get a much larger stone for less money though I know some people are set on a diamond (and that’s okay too!!)
I have a 1.5 ct equivalent moissy.

A couple of you ladies mentioned having received rude comments due to your diamonds being “small” in spite of the fact that you are more than content with the size. It never ceases to amaze me how shallow some people can be. You are the ones that truly have integrity for being happy with what you have. Btw, all of your rings are very beautiful!

I don’t know or care what size my ring is. It is symbolic of our love and engagement but i do not feel size matters. I get to marry the love of my life. If there was no ring at all…i honestly would not care. That being said, he chose the ring and i am completely in love with it.

this x10. I found mine online-consigned. Our budget is a bit bigger but we paid for the entire ring less than what just the diamond would cost from the store.

I wish i had a smaller diamond ring.. Everyone i know judges the crap out of me for having a stone thats over a carat and a half. I might consider getting a smaller ring and keep my engagement ring in safe keeping and give it to my future son or daughter someday! This is a helpful thread so i can consider something in this size

just beautiful! So sparkly😍
I love this too!!
All rings are just beautiful and a very personal thing to the wearer. Some people prefer a larger stone and others a smaller one. Live and let live I say!😃
Mines a 0.30ct quite plain and simple solitaire but I love it, my fiancé bought it for me and therefore it means the world to me❤️
