My fiancee insisted that I get the half carat but I refused and choose the 1/3 instead. I LOVE it!! cant wait to pick out my wedding band.

I want more posts on this thread!

Here’s my ring, I think it’s around .25 carats total, so the center stone must be ‘tiny’ but the way it’s set – kind of high within the raised filligree stuff – makes the thing sparkle really far – I’ve recieved comments from classmates on noticing it from across rooms! I LOVE it and it never snags on anything.  I’d say design and diamond go a long way in affecting the ring’s look, no matter the stone size.

My ring size is 6.25

The three diamonds in my ring amount to .5, and I love ’em to bits.

I apologize for the crappy photo, I promise it sparkles. 🙂

I told my man that anything from .25 to .6 was fine by me. My mom has a .3 and it’s plenty big in my opinion. I prefer a smaller stone anyway – I don’t like the great big bling, feels too vain to me. And I value functionality. 😉 I don’t have the ring yet, but as soon as I do I’ll upload a pic!

of course! my centre stone is about 1/5 of a carat, and i love it. it was his grandmother’s diamond from her engagement ring, we had it set into this setting.

do i get jealous of bigger rings? sure. but this one means more than any other ring would mean to me. plus, i tend to whack my hands on things. i’d be afraid to have a bigger stone!

Mine is a vintage ring with a .33 ct diamond. It looks much larger due to the illusion head (popular in the 30s). I love it!

Mine is. .33 and the perfect size for me. Personally love .3 to .5 the best.

A little diamond is fine! My center stone is .25. There are little diamonds on the side for a total of .50. I LOVE my ring!

Not mine, but if I’d had a smaller stone to choose from, I’d have gone with one of this one.  I think it’s a 1/4 carat:

Mine is .75 carat and I love it!  We had picked out a .5 carat and when he went to order it he surprised me with the bigger one 🙂  Here it is with my band.
