Has anyone done it?
I am thinking about doing one with timbits (donut holes) for fun with a dessert bar later in the evening.
Can I purchase the “tower” somewhere and just have to add the timbits?
Paying for one is silly to me, google hasn’t brought me any results I can run with!

Omg that sounds AWESOME!!!! Hmmmmm…. I think you could likely use one of those cardboard tiered stands you can buy at Michaels (don’t forget your coupon!) or try McCalls if you’re in the GTA.

Here is a video tutorial, they are called croquembroche, and are European wedding cakes. It’s very popular 🙂

Easy to do with mini donuts. Get a large styrofoam cone at the craft store. Adhere it to a serving plate with some icing- just so it doesn’t slip around.
Stick the timbits on with toothpicks.

Oh this is going to be fun, and relatively inexpensive, thank-you for the ideas, enough to get me started.
I might do a tester for the office next week or something, heading to Michaels today (with coupon!) and will get what I planned to and scope out what I could use from them!
