@danymarie: I’d go with whatever looks better on you. I wore white and got married outside, and I looked way better in white than I did in ivory. The ivory totally washed me out–my consultant couldn’t believe it because so many people look better in ivory. But white was perfect for me!

White vs ivory has nothing to do with the weather. It depends on how it complements your skin tone. If you want white outdoors, go for it and join the ranks of millions of women who have done it. It’s not too bright at all and your guests won’t be concerned with it.

White is a classic summer color. Of course it would be fine for a wedding!

It’s hard to tell with the light but I think that white is a good choice!  The ivory seams very dark to me.

Is that picture in ivory or caramel?  Because if it’s ivory, I think it’s very dark for outdoors.

You really can’t go wrong with white.  🙂   Don’t worry, it will look great.

I actually tried that dress on in white!  I don’t think they usually have it, but when I was there someone had made some changes and then decided she didn’t want it so they happened to have a white one.  My skin color is similar to yours and I have brown hair, and I think white dresses look way better on me than ivory.  I think the white will look amazing on you!  And that dress fits you really well.

@danymarie: I think white will be lovely and especially complimentary to a tan skin tone. Any chance you can get a swatch of the fabric in white? That is a gorgeous dress!

Oh it is GORGEOUS in white!  I wish I could have found it back home so I could try it on again.  Make sure to post pictures of it when it comes in!!!!
