Skin is in now a days.. It’s not like in the 80’s and early 90’s when you could find very pretty bridesmaid dresses with sleeves everywhere. Well, I found these pretty modest dresses at David’s bridal…
What do you bees think? Bolero jacket or no bolero Jacket. For the modest look..
It’s a June wedding.

I think the dresses you selected do a pretty good job of covering up any body shape. I would go without the sleeves!

Also…looks at Mrs Avo…her sister…and other LDS brides
LDS brides have to be modest and I have bee nreally impressed with some of the dresses that have found that are modest but also so pretty!
I have seen Mrs Avo and her sister also have dresses altered for them. They both found dresses that were not modest enough and had things added to them

i think they are fine without the bolero. i don’t think that neckline would mesh with a bolero jacket.

I think it looks fine with the bolero, and it looks lightweight enough that it would be okay in June, but is there a way you could give your bridesmaids a choice? Those dresses have a very high neckline so the only exposed is their shoulders, which I know in some religions/cultures is immodest, but at least you aren’t worrying about cleavage!

I think the bridesmaid dresses are modest without the arms covered. My sister tried this style on and it looked very flattering without being revealing, due to the high neckline. I also think your dress will be just fine without the bolero, it’s all about the neckline. It’s beautiful!

I think they are sufficiently modest without the bolero, but if it’s important to you that shoulders be covered there are lots of inexpensive options that might be a bit more comfortable.
My worry would be that your ladies will be too hot on a June day, especially since they’re in long dresses and hose already.

I prefer it without the bolero, but it’s not AWFUL with it. I do understand that some people want to cover their arms.

What about trying light-weight pashminas in the same colour as the dress?
The dresses are really pretty!
