My sister tried talking me out of it but I bought them anyways. I figured it wont be a waste cause I can possibly re-sell.

I am doing the pintuck linens, but that’s because I got them for fairly cheap off another bee who had them in the color I wanted. And, she had some runners that hadn’t been used as well as the chair sashes. You still have a ton of time, you might try lurking in the classifieds to see if you can get them cheaper there 🙂 Hope this was helpful…

I’m getting them, but only because I don’t like the alternative which is crushed satin.

I’m getting them!! I agree it makes a huge difference! I think the pintuck ones look so elegant. It’s also cheaper to buy than rent, and I plan on either buying them used or getting them off of wholesale websites (cvlinens.com is the cheapest i found so far.) I’ll re-sell them after the wedding too so hopefully it won’t cost that much overall.

We did pintuck linens and it made a huge difference from the standard tablecloths that came with the venue.  It just makes everything look a little bit fancier.  I found a great price for them online.

I’m doing taupe pintucks and I’m incredibly lucky that my caterer includes them as part of our standard package. I LOVE the way they look.

@Missloveknot:  haha  definitely for guests to enjoy.  I’m Russian.  If you look there is a shot glass at every place setting.  Vodka on the table is mandatory in Russian culture because guests don’t drink mixed drinks, they do shots.  So we had the vodka on for the Russian guests and a bar with mixed drinks for the American guests.  Although the Americans were more than happy to partake in this Russian tradition.

Our American guests enjoying the Russian tradition:
