Hi my name is Pansyshell and I have a serious cloth diaper addiction.
My original stash and gift from my mom started at as 34 pocket diapers (BG, Rump-a-roos, and FuzziBunz). Then after starting cloth when DS’s umbilical stump finally fell off at 3 weeks, I loved them so much and I kinda went nuts, ordering a bunch more fluff to try out…
My stash is now 57 diapers deep and I want at least one more because I need an even number of diapers to ease my mind…so sad! Has anyone else encountered this obsession?! Please tell me I’m not the only one!
Brands we own: Bum Genius, Rump-a-roos, FuzziBunz, Blueberry in Bamboo, Evolution Diapers, SmartiPants, Happy Heiny’s, Itti Bitti Tutto, GroVia, Baby Kicks, LolliDo Overnight, Apple Cheeks Swim Diaper
— I’d be happy to provide a review on any of these brands for those interested.
In my defense a bunch of those diapers were free (with orders and I had a quality issue so the manufature sent me a bunch of free diapers). At least if we have two children in cloth diapers at the same time I wont have to worry about running out between washes!

My name is DCHokieBride3 and I’m addicted to cloth diapers as well!
It’s more of a wish list obsession though! Once we get our financial situation a little more stable I want to try a few.
I mainly use my Fuzzibunz, BGs and Oh Katys. I’m dying to try Charlie Bananas and flats or prefolds with covers (preferable Apple Cheeks) because I hear a lot of great reviews about these brands. I also want more GroVias.
Which diapers are your favorite?

@dchokiebride3: Did you see the new Apple Cheeks prints?! So cute! I also forgot I have an Apple Cheeks swim diaper..I’ll have to add it.
My favorites are the BG’s by far. I also love my Itti Bitti Tutto, a SIO, OS, which I didn’t think I would like, but I LOVE. It’s so soft and super trim plus you can customize the absorbancy just where you need it for boys or girls. The Evolution diaper is a nice alternative to all the fleece lined diapers and it’s 100% customizable to size, plus side snapping. I can see it reaching an even higher size range than my Fuzzi Bunz.
I pretty much only have pockets because I thought that would be easier for Darling Husband is we stuck with one type of diaper. Most snap, but after recieving a free Rump-a-roos with velcro Darling Husband expressed interest in them so my mom purchased him 2 more velcro dipes. Spoilled SIL lol.

Me too! It’s my new hobby according to my husband. My obsession is more like dchokiebride3’s in that a lot of it is still wish list material but I definately enjoy it.
My stash includes pocket diapers: Fuzzibunz One Size, BumGenius 4.0s, and minky Blueberrys in both bamboo and microfleece, as well as Kissaluvs Marvels and fitteds: Kissaluvs organic cotton/hemp.
I have Thirsties Duo covers and a Lanacare wool cover too for the fitteds. I very much agree with trying Apple Cheeks and Charlie Banana soon. Such great reviews and feedback!
ETA: I also have Swaddlebees stay-dry liners for the fitteds at night.

I was an addict for a while, but Mr. DG cut me off. He said we have too many and it was time to stop… so I’ve turned my attentions elsewhere 🙂 Zulily is my friend!

yeah Charlie Bananas and Apple Cheeks are next on my ever growing list! 🙂 I also got a free itty bitti tutto from Kelly’s Closet (LOOOOVE) with my Fuzzibunz purchase. At first I hated it because Kayla peed right out of it while feeding one day but I do like how trim it is and I got a great orange color! The new prints are great!!
I mainly use my pocket OS diapers, but I really love the one GroVia I have and am dying to buy some more. And I want to try prefolds with apple cheeks. I could talk about cloth diapers all day. Do you guys follow diaper shops on facebook? 🙂

Oh wow Im not even pregnant or trying but cloth diapering makes me excited. Thats weird. But I look forward to the day when I can too have a collection of cloth diapers!

This post makes me so happy! I’m 34 weeks and wanting to do cloth, but everybody keeps saying, “you’ll never last.” My plan is for BG all in one, one size. It seems like the easiest.

Oh, I am so addicted. I think my son has enough diapers for two babies to wear! I finally scored some ragababes this past Saturday… they are really hard to get and in limited quantity right now so I had to sit in front of my computer and keep refreshing the page until the store loaded and quickly add what I wanted to my cart. They sold out in under 5 minutes! If that doesn’t say addicted I don’t know what does! We also have BG’s, oh katys, tot bots, HH and rumparooz. I also recently bought a monkey foot designs wet bag and it is so cute and well made.

We need to post some stash shots… I love seeing all the bright colors lined up.

@Mrs. DG: ooooh yes….Zulily…danger, danger! I’m there and just got my first order in the mail
pansyshell –nice, you got some freebies! You don’t have to count those. 😉
Post # 13
@dchokiebride3: Yea! for free diapers!!!
@Mrs. DG: DH pretty much tried the same thing with me. We have no more room in our drawer! But after my shopping the spree the last bunch was purchased by my mom specifically for Darling Husband. Someone needs to cut her off as well lol
@artbee: Everyone said the same thing to me. All of my SIL’s were 100% against it. Now that they see them and how we all love them they are more accepting. My one SIL even said she may consider it if she gets pregnant because they are cuter.
@jubyju22: OMG that is intense! I thought my CD dreams were bad! Haha
@808bride: What is Zuiily? Or maybe I don’t want to know because then I’ll have a new obsession 🙂 And about 1/5 of my stash was freebies so if we don’t count those I don’t sound sooo bad, plus our LO hates any sort of wetness so I’m still changing ~24 diapers a day. I’m so glad we are doing cloth because we were using almost an entire pack of disposables each day! I’m hoping these means easy potty training when the time comes (I hope to start EC soon).

I’m only addicted by looking.LOL I only have 16 in my stash (of the new kind) but I love when I tell ppl I plan to cloth diaper and they say “It’ll never work, etc, etc.” then they look funny whn I show them the diaper. I have prefolds I plan to use with a snappi as well, so I have both types. Oh, I have bG diapers.

I love how excited y’all are about your cloth diapers – it’s so encouraging! I’m 23 weeks, and when I tell people I’m going to use cloth, they act like I’m crazy. For the Fuzzibunz users, are you using the one size or the perfect size? Anyone try both and have a preference?
