A day does not go by without me dropping something, knocking something over, hurting myself – something! When I lived alone I guess I never noticed it. But now I scared the bejesus out of H because frankly knocking and dropping stuff is pretty loud! Or I’ll get up from the table and accidentally take everythings off of it becaus something was hooked to my shirt. I was carrying 3 cans of food from the pantry and I felt out of my grip and made quite the bang. H will come running into the room all concerned, “OMG are you OK?” Just a normal day for me!
I guess I do things too quickly? Or hastily? Maybe if I were deliberate with every step I took, or never carried more than two items (one per hand), THEN maybe I wouldn’t be such an accident.

Yes. I am a walking (rather, stumbling) timebomb. A day rarely goes by that I don’t trip over something, whether it be my own feet, husband’s shoes in the floor, a rug, or… air. I’m amazed I’ve never broken a bone!

@sienna76: Yeah I am just clumsy. SO is fully aware of this and luckily still thinks its cute. Most of time its funny, but sometimes I do get frustrated at myself always getting injured and dropping stuff.
I am also really forgetful. SO always has to ask if I have my phone and purse with me lol

I’m another Murphy’s Law girl! If I can drop it, break it, trip over it, hurt myself with it, or ruin it for good…I definitely will. My SO makes fun of me all the time and I can’t blame him because I’m pretty embarrassing. As an adult I’ve broken my foot and dislocated my shoulder and that’s about it. As a kid…yikes.

Yeah, I’m so clumsy it’s unreal.
We are constantly buying new (cheap now, lol) dishes because I break all the ones we have. I trip all the time. I hit my knee on the footrest in front of our couch at least twice daily.
I actually wanted to be a ballerina when I was younger; that dream died pretty rapidly.

I ALWAYS spill stuff……..last night, the glass of red wine I so desparately needed, all over the carpet.

I have the problem of accidently punching myself in the boob on a fairly regular basis… anyone else or is this just me? I’ll be pulling the sleeves up on my long sleeved shirts and I guess my hand slips but man, it kinda hurts.
I also get stuck on things a lot. Just this morning I got stuck on a door knob at work because apparently I was walking to close to it and my shirt snagged.. I also regularly trip over our coffee table when I try to walk around it… blah

@mrstea83: I wanted to be a bellerina too! my mom put me in Ballet classes but that oly lasted a year because I am too clumsy for my own good!
I am always hurting myself, getting random bruises, tripping over things maybe I just don’t pay attention?

We don’t own a coffee table. That is how frequently I walked into it.
When I was growing up, there was cracked plaster on the corner of the hallway wall that worked as my growth chart. That was how often I ran into it.
When Darling Husband and I first started dating, I managed to fall down the two flights of exterior stairs to his apartment, leading my family to accuse him (mostly jokingly) of beating me the first time they met him.
I am a constant disaster.

@BrandNewBride: Us too! I did invest in an ottoman, I needed something to put the remote/wine/phone/my feet/etc. on!
I have this light/permanant bruise on the side of my thigh from walking into my desk at work last year… its faded quite a bit, I sometimes wonder if I just keep doing it and don’t notice anymore and if that’s why there’s still a faint bruise!

It’s nice to know I’m not the only klutz here 😉 I’m constantly running into things. I frequently bash my elbow into the wall. When I was in 4th grade I fell down the stairs and broke my foot. Yeah…

Lol I am a klutz as well. Today I got my foot stuck in the mat in the elevator and almost wiped out.
A couple hours later I managed to tip my handbag over and the water bottle inside went flying.
Not a day goes by where I don’t spill some liquid on myself.

@andysgirl22: Same thing happened to me. I also tried tap dancing. I broke the mirror (you know, the big huge long one on the wall?)- fortunately, the teacher was sympathetic and my parents didn’t have to pay to replace it.

I’m rather clumsy too. I’m always baashing into walls, doors, tables and chairs… at the moment I have two huge purple bruise on my leg from two weeks ago where I walked into my desk while invigilating mock exams, and walked into a chair.

Yeah that’s me. My Darling Husband asks me how I always end up hurting myself all the time. I also have brusies all over myself and I sometimes don’t even know where they came from!
