I LOVE fall!  It’s definitely the best season.  Football, appropriate temperatures (ie not stupid hot or stupid cold), pretty leaves, football, pumpkin and apple everything, football, cold nights where I get to snuggle under the blankets and not break out in a hot sweat, no bugs, football, and the awesome wardrobe (sweaters, jackets, jeans, boots, fleece, other warm yet stylish clothes that don’t make me look chubby).  Oh and did I metion football?

I used to LOVE autumn when I lived in new mexico. the weather was absolutely perfect, cool but not cold, and the sunlight would soften and appear golden.

but now I live in seattle, and we have really nice summers here. this year is particularly amazing. I don’t want it to end 🙁

Fall is my favorite!  Still warm enough on some days, but with a crisp cool in the morning, and not humid anymore.  Apple orchards, pumpkin patches, light sweaters…WOOHOO!  Forget Christmas, Autumn is the most wonderful time of the year!

Starbucks changed their pumpkin spice syrup a couple of years ago.  The pumpkin spice latte used to be my harbinger of Autumn, but now I think they’re nasty.  🙁  Makes me sad.  Thank goodness for the salted caramel mocha.

I am also an autumn idiot! Laughing

We married in October because every year since I have been an adult, I have been in love during the fall. I love the sweater weather, the smell of leaves and the foliage.

I am looking forward to our two day anniversary getaway this year.

I’m so excited that I have a countdown on my phone to the first day of fall….yes, I’m weird.

We had a surprisingly autumn-like morning here today, considering it’s August. Made me so excited! 🙂

@vorpalette:  Yes, yes, yes. You just said some of my favorite words.

I am itching to break out some fabulous boots I bought on clearance last year….oh they are dying to be worn. Sweaters, boots, tights…I can’t get enough.

Another bonus, the wine county is beyond gorgeous in the fall. Those colors get me every year.

I feel like summer never really hit here in Toronto so I am a little bit disappointed. I do love autumn, I just don’t want winter to be around the corner.

I love autumn and this autumn is extra special because my son gets married at the end of September. I’m planning the wedding with his Fiance (her parents are in the USA) and the theme is “fall colours and foliage”.

Also, autumn is always super exciting here because it is Bonfire Season. We don’t make a huge thing of Halloween in this particular corner of England but we are famous for our Bonfire Night on the 5th November and in the weeks beforehand, we do bonfire at all the surrounding villages. It is absolutely the best time of year.

@Aquaria:  Fall is my favorite season! I love jacket weather. I’m looking forward to watching scary movie marathons on tv leading up to Halloween, dressing up and going trick-or-treating with my nieces, a little nip in the air, The Walking Dead returning, being able to wear boots, scarves and peacoats, hot apple cider, football season, and pumpkin pie (+1 if it’s pumpkin pie cheesecake). I could go on and on, but I think you get my enthusiasm.
