I’m ok with my body but it took me a long time to get comfortable with it and even now I still have those days where I get super frustrated and decide I’m living in sweats and not leaving the house cuz I’m “fat.”I do see women with those kick-ass athletic, slim bodies who’ve had them thanks to genetics and I will sigh wistfully and curse my short, round mother for passing on her genes oh so thoroughly to me while scowling at my skinny father for doing a poor job of giving me his metabolism. Selfish bastard!

Where I get annoyed is when super skinny women try and give me diet tips when their diet consist of pretty much licking celery or they tell me that they couldn’t dream of touching red meat because it makes them nauseous. Yeah, shut up skinny wenches. We know why you’re skinny and its because you don’t eat. Pass me a cheeseburger. I’ll keep my curves and cellulite.

@embarrassed99:  I have a friend who weighs nothing and always talks about how she can eat whatever she wants without exercising and without gaining a pound.  I want to punch her in the face just a little bit.  I don’t think she gets that I have to work so hard at it.

I respond negatively to other women’s beauty in three ways:

1. Occasional, light jealousy, but only around my Boyfriend or Best Friend, and only around “his type.” Hate that about relationships. I only ever feel inadequate in relation to him. This is stupid because, of course he looks at other women, but it doesn’t mean he finds me less attractive…the more confident I feel, the less it bothers me.

2. I can be overly nice to better lookin women so they don’t see me as “inferior.” I think a lot of us register when someone is less attractive. I don’t want a mean-spirited good looking person to have that satisfaction, so I try and be nice to show it doesn’t bother me…? Kind of fucked up, but I’m being honest.

3. I am attracted to women, so when I look at other women it’s a dual checking out/comparison thing. Double the objectification, double the fun.

I actually have a pretty nice body and working out has made it better. I always wanted a classically beautiful face. I don’t covet other women’s faces, I just wish my own were a bit different – less cute, more womanly. But if given the opportunity, I don’t know if I would change it, since it is my face.

@the_newlymintedmrs-s17:

not always they probably didn’t know what they were talking about. My mom is skinny and she never has dieted a day in her life. Going without food for 2 days really takes a lot out of her because she is so small she can’t endure cutting her calories. If I don’t eat at least 1500 calories a day I fall under 100 lbs. Some skinny women have underweight tendencies by genetics and aren’t anorexics.

I always check to see if they’re the obvious round basketballs.If the are I just wonder what she looked like before.
