We are moving too!!! Our lease is up last day of May and we get married on June 1st! Luckily we are moving into my grandparent’s house and it’s all ready for us so we can just start moving little by little.

I’m trying not to feel too overwhelmed! But very excited to get out of our tiny apartment and into a big house!

Right there with ya girl! We have a long overlap between my lease and the new place but it’s still stressful. On top of that I am working about 45-50 hour weeks and applying to grad school. I’m basically a basket case.

I live in a tiny 1 bedroom and he rented a room in a friend’s house. Now we are moving into a 3 bedroom kind of in the burbs. It’s very exciting but I need to buy so much furniture and a handful of appliances and all the little things you need when you have a house vs an apt. Oy vey.

I am, and so stressed!  FI is in Tennessee right now, I’m in NJ.  The wedding is in NJ but I’ll be moving to Tennessee in the next few weeks.  I put my notice in at work that I’d be moving after the wedding but they only want me to work through May 18th so my job search starts now!

I’m excited to start the job hunt but its tricky because I’m getting calls now but they are looking for people to interview immediately and I’m not able to for 2 more weeks. I’d like to wait until after the wedding but we’ll have so much due between rent and security deposits that I really can’t go 1.5 months without a paycheck.

We do already have a house to lease though, Fiance moves in May 20th and I guess I will be down there shortly afterwards.  I going to strategically be back and forth because I need to interview as much as possible but also have my shower and bachlorette party coming up in NJ.

The next two months is going to be a whirlwind for sure!  Good luck bees!

My Fiance and I currently live together, but he may be getting promoted and relocated soon (we find out next month). Our wedding is 3 months away and we think we can put off moving until after the wedding, but we’re preparing to move sooner if we have to!

@sarbeartoo:

YES!  As a matter of fact I just moved my entire family 2 weeks ago, major house move (think lots of kids/stuff, etc). It was massively stressful. I’m still not recovered, I have no desire as of even today to finish up my last few things and my wedding is a month from wednesday.

Yeah, we’re looking at having a February wedding, and our lease ends on March 31st. We want to be in a new apartment next year (w/ cheaper apt, to save some money for a house!) and for some reason decided that we’re most likely going with a Feb wedding.
At least we can still change our date if we want to  (nothing set in stone, this planning’s been a bit of a disaster), and possibly move some of our things into his mom’s house temporarily. :/

I realized it the other day as I was driving home (February wedding? February lease?) and I just had to laugh.

@sarbeartoo:  FI and I bought a house in March, we are getting married June 22nd and not only has it added to the stress but also the little random costs add up! Oh and on top of the new house and wedding coming up, I have an interview tomorrow and might be switching jobs! Im def going to need a vacation by the time we get married and go on our honeymoon!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, we are actually moving in just a couple of weeks. It’s annoying more than anything else, but our wedding is far enough away that it shouldn’t have a huge impact on things — just adds extra stress! The upside is, we will be saving about 40% of what we used to pay on a monthly basis, and that will really help us get the rest of the wedding paid off and build our savings back up.

We’re moving from DC to CA at the end of the month and getting married June 15. Crazy times, but glad it’s all being done now so I only have to be crazy once.

Yes! Fiance got a job, so we are actually moving the week after we get back from the honeymoon. And it wasn’t planned until two weeks ago, so I’m a little stressed ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, we are renting a new home together. I am currently living here and getting the house put together while he continues to rent a place with his current roommate. he’s moving into his parents house for the beginning of june so he’s not paying full rent to live in his old place for half the month.

We are moving as well. Were building a  house and it’s 2 days from being completely done! I am sooo EXCITED. He will be living there before I do because our wedding isn’t until August 10, 2013, but I will be decorating!

We are moving from AZ to NC next month and our wedding is in September! It’s definitely stressful, and our wedding is in CA which adds to that a bit!
