I had a complete freak out session yesterday…all day…when I realized that I am only 9 weeks and (now) one day out.  I had a family tragedy recently, and I guess it threw off how long I THOUGHT I had.  Hahahaha.  I’m getting anxious to make sure everything is done.  Lists are my therapy.  Making lists.  Is that bad?  hahahaha.

Try TERRIFIED. ๐Ÿ™‚

And panicky, anxious, stressed, happy, excited, rushed… I think I feel every emotion in the book right about now.

Planning is going well…. have to start working on the music list, the seating chart (as I get in RSVP’s), I need a hair trial still… I want to find a bolero all of the sudden, and I need to finalize the menu/who is doing what for the food (dessert reception). Plus a million other things.

I’m just ready for it to be here already. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m starting to feel the stress, but I’m trying to handle it as best I know how…exercise instead of ice cream. All the big things are completely done and just need final payments, but it’s all the little details that are throwing me for a loop. I have my first shower this weekend and then I will probably really be in stress-out mode.

Sigh.

I’m absolutely starting to feel the heat — it seems like there’s a lot to do!  Not big stuff really, but a billion smaller things.  Not a fan AT ALL.  I keep reminding myself that even though I only have 40something days left to get it done, that means I only have 40something days until we’re lounging around drinking margaritas in Mexico!

That helps ๐Ÿ™‚

Minneapolitan – good point.  The little things are completely throwing me.  It turns out there were some things earlier that I didn’t want to deal with under the Details heading, and now I have to make decisions right now.  Our honeymoon is a month after the wedding, but I’m looking forward to the week and a half I’ll have off of work for that and then the week and a half for the honeymoon.  Woot woot!!

Anyone having trouble sleeping?  Lately my mind has just been racing and I can’t sleep!  I’ll be SO glad when November 14th rolls around!

I’m not having any problems sleeping but I’ve been stress eating AND not exercising! And I have to fit into a very tight mermaid, so that’s no bueno.

I’m in wedding overload mode today!!

Yay JoyousBride!  CONGRATS!!  I can’t believe it’s only 33 days now.  YIKES!  Thanks for the Tylenol PM suggestion, I’ll have to pick some up.  I’m coping OK – just getting LOTS of butterflies.  Not that I’m nervous about being married, just hope all goes as I’ve planned it out.  I’m exercising and will be doing more of that now that we’re about a month away.  Still would LOVE to loose about 5 more pounds.  Doesn’t help that my birthday was yesterday and everyone wants to go out and celebrate!

How are you holding up?  What do you have left to take care of?

I’m at 40 days today, and it’s rough.  Hahahaha.  Just all those last-minute things along with DIY stuff.  The weird dreams have definitely started.  I had one that involved a “reception outfit”, a mall reception and bed sheets for table linens.  It was very disturbing to say the least.  Hahaha.

Just checking off that list…and checking…and checking…

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one having trouble sleeping. I was even up at 3:30am on Monday and could not fall back to sleep.

Very emotional. Very stressed – worrying about out of town guests having a good time (90% are OOT’ers).

I know it will be fabulous but darn I was hoping that this would be easier.

Hope all of you are getting excited, staying calm and crossing things slowly off your to-do’s.

I’m excited about the marriage, nervous about the wedding!!  Maybe once I actually have something officially done for the wedding, I’ll be a little more at peace, but right now everything is in the planning stages.  Hopefully that will change in the next few weeks!!
