I recently found out I was expecting a baby I never thought I could have and it’s such a wonderful feeling! I was wondering if there were any other expectant mommas out there who had trouble conceiving or beat the odds. I’d love to hear your stories! I actually ended up conceiving 100% naturally, too, which just blows my mind. I was told my multiple doctors that I’d need medical help to conceive because of my PCOS and previous ectopic that took one of my tubes. Miracles are always a surprise, aren’t they?

@quierajen: Congrats on your pregnancy!!! I love miracle surprises! =))
I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant with a miracle baby. We had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy prior to this. We had a few tests done but they didn’t show anything that could explain the repeat losses. The cycle I got pregnant we were not TTC because I was booked to have an HSG (which was a prequisite to see the reproductive endocrinologist). We were basically putting TTC on hold so that I could have a boat load of tests done.
Well, we had unprotected sex one time that month and it was so early in my cycle I told Darling Husband we didn’t need to use protection because I was sure I couldn’t get pregnant. I believe it was CD9 and my cycles were averaging about 32 days so I normally ovulated around CD18. Obviously since I’m now 14 weeks pregnant, my calculations weren’t so good lol. When we first found out I was pregnant we were both shocked and too freaked out about having another miscarriage to be excited. However, after having a couple ultrasounds, hearing the heartbeat and finally making it to the second trimester we’re able to breathe a little easier. We’re both very excited. 🙂

@quierajen: A friend of mine had to go through many, many years of trying/IVF in order to conceive and they ended up with twin girls. RIGHT after the girls were born she got pregnant again (100% naturally) and now they have irish triplets!!!!!!
