Bah, I hate it too. I downsize my screen so that I only see forum area, no adds/leaders/etc. But the ‘shopping’ idea is good, too.

HAHA YES, I do most of my bee stuff at work and have to hide that side of the screen so it does not look like I am watching a video. LOL

I almost started this thread yesterday.  I don’t like chick flicks, so I already had no interest in seeing the movie.  Now, I have LESS than no interest…if that’s possible.  Annoying annoying annoying!

Maybe I will go pretend to do some shopping like

(Also, I find it funny that they are dancing on the side of the screen in a thread about how annoying them dancing on the side of the screen is!)

YES!!! I wanted to watch that movie until I was forced to watch that advertisement for it 1291283421301234 times a day! Okay, that could be my fault for being on wedding bee so much……

I hate all moving ads. I think if you want people to pay attention to the actual content on your site, they’re a bad idea. I work for a medical journal and we have moving ads. . . I feel sorry for the researchers trying to read our articles.

Whenever tvs/movies use obnoxious ads, I make a point of not seeing them. Giant “Scandal” pop up on the ew.com site today? Never watching that stupid show. I love me some Jason Segel but I am never seeing that movie now.

I never see ads here or anywhere else.  The ad blocking extensions I have installed on Firefox prevent that.  The Internet can be a really uncivilized place without Firefox and Adblock Plus. Wink

OMG!  Thank you for posting this.  I AM SO SICK of 5 YEAR ENGAGEMENT’s TERRIBLE AD!

Sorry, I rarely yell but it is driving ME.NUTS.

I will NEVER watch that movie now!  How many times do I need to watch it, it is terrible.  I actually took a break from WB the last few days because of it!!!

So burned in my brain like PTSD.
