…having a VERY colorful wedding?!?
I am going for a rustic/vintage feel but I want A LOT of color. My venue is a completely open cedar building with long windows all over the side walls. So, I really want my tables to pop against all that brown.
I’m having pink tablecloths (bright pink!) with an ivory runner (to make things a little more “wedding-y”) with accents of apple green in the flowers and other centerpiece details.
Some people are thinking I’m crazy to have that much color! Anyone else out there foregoing the traditional “bride-y white” tables and going for some crazy colors?!
Also, anyone out there with unique rustic centerpiece ideas? I’m kind of in a rut…

I think it sounds gorgeous!!! I love color!!!! We aren’t being to colorful though. Our colors are (white and black) and purple and grey. Our tables are going to be purple and grey though, no white or black on them!!! We kind of are trying to go with the rustic feel too. I think for our centerpieces we are going to take vases of all shapes and sizes and wrap them in ribbons of our colors and then put like 1-3 flowers in them. Something simple and still pretty. And not to expensive either since we won’t use a bunch of flowers!

You could do something with apples? Like bowls filled with pink ribbons or pebbles or flower tops and apples in them?

Not to colorful….apple red, white with black and white damask.

Yeah I am! We’re not really having a colour scheme in that I couldn’t pick just one – I didn’t want to be restricted! I’ve got 4 bridesmaids who are all wearing different colours (Lilac, Pale Lemon, Pistachio Green and an Apricot/Coraly kinda colour) and our tables at the reception will have white table cloths but I’m going to make different coloured gingham table runners to go along the tables (we’re having long picnic style tables as opposed to round ones). I’m also gonna buy LOTS of lovely colourful paper pom poms from Etsy and a few will be strung up from a tree for our ceremony and the rest will be hanging from the ceiling of our reception venue.
Our table decorations will just be a posy of lovely flowers (which our venue are providing for free by letting my sister raid their massive rose garden!) in glass jam jars and our menus will feature an orange and hot pink design. OOh and I’ll probably go with different coloured ribbons on the back of peoples chairs too! It’ll be VERY colourful but hopefully not too garish! It’ll be fun either way!

Well, I have white linens only because that’s in our package already and I’m a scrooge about splurging on things like overlays and Chivari chairs. But how about this for a little pink/green inspiration?
