Okay so my pooch evidently has very vivid dreams. Haha. She always moves her paws like she’s running, licks/chews like she’s eating something, and her eyes and partially open but rolled back. She also makes this noise that sounds like a high pitched hiccup. It is hilarious but her face is so creepy when she does it!
Case in point:
Hahaha, does anyone else dog do this?

Our Charlie does that all the time, super creepy when his eyes roll back like that. Max, our pit, is always running in his sleep and barking at something.

HAH! Oh god our newest dog is a pitbull mix and has the weirdest dreams. She does this weird howl thing, I can’t even accurately describe it. She sounds like some electronic toy that’s low on batteries and kind of groans/howls and the pitch goes up and down. It’s hilarious on top of the fact that she’s twitching and her paws are flailing.

Yeah my little guy whimpers and cries. When he was super little he would HOWL so loud,.. he was like a fire alarm. He digs and snorts quite a lot too. It’s a bit freaky, but cute.

The greyhound still has races to run when he falls asleep…one time he was on his back with his legs slamming into the bookshelf behind him….dvds, candles and video games were everywhere! Still couldn’t wake him up though…guess you have to respect him for that much, even in his dreams he wants to win!

OMG that’s hilarious! My one dog is a loud snoring dreamer who yelps in her sleep. I’m not entirely sure my other dog sleeps at all, ever.

Both of my pups do that too. Cracks me up when the sleep bark, funnier when they do it loud and wake themselves up and start barking at the noise they made.

OMG mine! She is so weird, she makes these growling/grunting/barking noises and her legs move almost as if she is running for something. What a creep!

Yeah, my pit mix is the same way. He kind of makes this chirping sound followed by some kind of grunt. Then he usually proceeds to wag his tail and “chase” things. The first time I ever saw his eyes roll back like that, he had his tongue out and he was moving so much I thought he was having a seizure :/ Now I know that’s just how he is when he sleeps.

Omg our new puppy does this all the time and I am usually yelling at my husband to make sure he is ok because it makes me nervous lol.
Our big old lazy lab does not I think because he is too lazy to run in his dreams and is probably dreaming about sleeping or eating.

I love my little one’s growly-barky-hiccupy noises she makes in her sleep. I think its adorable.
