sweet14 :  I personally just got eyelashes for the wedding, I am doing a trial run to make sure I like them now. I LOVE them! They give me the look I want but don’t look crazy, very natural lashes that will show up in photos.

Mas far as hair, I always wanted long hair and I am still up in the air on extensions. However my Fiance doesn’t have to much of an opinion. If your dream is long thick hair then do it, if it’s to add thickness then do it, I wouldn’t do then if they were going to be a big difference.

Just my two cents..

I wear eyelashes (strips) and extensions (clip ins) every SATURDAY so yes, I’ll definitely be wearing them on my wedding, lol.

will be using my usual clip-in extensions for hair. will be using false lash strips for wedding. I had extensions for a year and loved them and then out of the blue developed an allergy to the glue and my eyes swelled shut. Tried different brands of glue and still reacted 🙁 lash strips look amazing too though so at least the chemical adhesive is different and I can wear them!

I am thinking about eyelash extensions.  I have never done them before but think they look gorgeous.  My only concern is cost and cost for “up keep” since you have to redo them every few weeks.  Also, I use oil to cleanse my face.  I’ve heard you can’t put oil on your face with lash extension since it dissolves the glue.  Any have experience with that?

goldenbrown :  yes you cannot wash with oil as that makes the adhesive come off. I LOVED my lash extensions. Barely wore mascara with them. However I have saved alot of money since getting them removed because of my allergic reaction. I got fills every 2.5-3 weeks for like $65 so it definitely adds up.

Just make sure you do a test a few months before your wedding to make sure you aren’t allergic. Because let me tell you, an allergic reaction to them is NOT pretty and the first one I had took a day to occur so I thank god that I had it now instead of the fill right before my wedding undecided

sweet14 :  I don’t wear much makeup but will be doing lashes for the sake of photos… My hair is very long and full so no extensions… The only suggestion I can give about your situation is once your makeup is on the eyelashes will blend with the look… Now if your hair is a shorter cut and your adding extensions and wearing your hair down I wouldn’t do that… If you are adding extensions to give some fullness and volume more than trying to have long hair you can add them and he won’t notice.

I wear extensions 24/7/365 so I’ll definitely be wearing them for my wedding (next weekend), and I just got lash extensions today and I LOVE them

I had lash extensions and they were really worth it. Mine were fairly subtle they sat right in the line of does she have them or doesn’t she. My hair dresser had been doing my hair for an hour when she finally said are they extensions or do you just have really dark lashes. I have naturally long lashes but they are sparse so I have them layered to create a thicker lash line but not longer then my natural lash. That worked really well. If you like them go for them they are more obvious when you have no make up on then when you do.

if I didn’t have a pro makeup artist, then yes, I totally would have gone for lash extensions. like a PP said, be sure to get a trial run months in advance so that if you don’t like them, there is time to try something different. I’ve seen beautiful extensions that look real, but I’ve also seen bad extensions that were really ugly.

Yes, I am def wearing hair extensions and I wear false lashes everyday so I will either wear glue on ones or get lash extensions done. I started growing my very short hair out when I got enaged. It’s grown a lot of the the last 8 months, just below my collar bone but I really wanted it to be longer. Fiance was ok with the idea until he found out I’m going auburn. My hair is blue/teal/green right now but naturally black. I was always red before putting the colors in it, so I don’t know why he thought I was going back to my natural color. Oh well,I’m sure he’ll like it when he sees it.
