Very few people are lucky enough to have their grandparents attend their wedding. My fiance and I both have one set of grandparents that will be able to attend. Rather than just being seated I’d like to involve them somehow, especially since my grandmother is doing ALL of the centerpieces for the reception and has helped out A LOT with other aspects. We will have the normal set up, our mothers will light candles from which we will light our unity candle. We thought about having the grandparents pour colored sand in the vase or whatever we use to hold our unity candle- his will have one color and mine will have a different color, blending of colors/families.
What do you all think? Any other ideas of how we could involve them?
