We aren’t doing a first look. Fiance wants to know nothing of what I’m wearing or anything until those doors open and he sees me walk toward him.
I am however catching that kind of moment with my dad before he walks me down the aisle. I’m the baby, and the last to get married so it’s super special for both of us.

No first look for me, I really want the first time to see my Dear Fiance when I walk down the aisle. But I do have a catholic gap, so there will be plenty of time for pictures between the ceremony and reception.

didn’t even know what it was until recently…and No, the first time he will see me will be me walking down the aisle of the church with my Dad.

We’re not doing a first look either. FI is very traditional so he was very against it and I agreed. I cannot wait to see his face when I come down the aisle!
@kay01: That’s great advice, I always just thought it was really inconvenient when people block off the aisle but it makes a lot of sense now! Maybe I’ll have to incorporate that!

We did a first look, and im really thankful.
ONLY because as i was walking down the aisle… my DH cousin and uncle who were sitting up front STEPPED OUT INTO THE AISLE to take pictures of me! so i didnt even SEE my DH! i saw my cousin and uncle to be.
im still bitter about that.

We aren’t doing a first look.. I don’t think we will have time. And my favourite part of a wedding has always been the look on the grooms face when the bride enters.. I hope that is something I will never forget and am really looking forward to.. So you are not the only one not doing a first look!!

Thank you! For us, we wanted to keep the tradition of seeing each other down the aisle for the first time. But I still wanted to be with him (we see each other daily) so it was a nice touch.
Seeing his hand from around the corner really got me excited. I was so stressed with the details on the day of the wedding… holding his hand really helped to calm me down and to refocus on the moment.

We didn’t! I didn’t want to see my husband that day until I was walking down the aisle! I guess we’re “traditional” like that about superstitions! Lol

Actually, no first look, but we are getting ready together? Someone has to tie my corset!!
