@CaraMia10:We’re not doing anything big just yet. We have been gifted a stay on the wedding night at a fab hotel. We will be doing a homeymoon, lol. Kind of doing things around the city that we normally wouldn’t do and hanging out. We will do a regular honeymoon later on.

We’re waiting!  My husband wants to do something BIG for our honeymoon, so we decided not to go right after the wedding.  We’ll probably take a big, fancy-schamncy trip once we don’t have to wrangle such complicated schedules (and have some, uh, money).

I think Fiance and I will just take a few days to drive back from Maine to NYC and “minimoon” on the way.

It’s mostly due to vacation days though. We’ll take our honeymoon after the 1st of the year when the vaction days restart.

It’s still up in the air, but I’m not expecting one.  Between budget and his deployment schedule it’s not looking good.  I know either way, we’ll take some time to ourselves and eventually plan a big trip somewhere.

My husband and i won a little 2 day getaway so we did that, otherwise we would have done nothing.

We are planning on going to Greece for three weeks for our one year anniversary instead. 🙂 We didnthave the time or money to do it right after the wedding!

We pretty much took our honeymoon to get engaged LOL  We went to Punta Cana this April and got engaged so doing another big trip in the same year just won’t work.  So we’ll probably go in winter or early spring next year.  We’re taking a couple days off after the wedding though so we can have some time to chill!

Same here! We are waiting because my Fiance won’t have vacation time at his new job yet until he has been there for a year, so we are thinking we will just end up going next summer sometime. Although we might do a minimoon and go to Disney Land for a day or two since I have never been there. Lol. That gives us lots more time to save up and it’s altogether less stressful I think.

We’re buying a house so we’re broke :-P. Plus I don’t have enough vacation accrued.

We aren’t waiting a full year, but we won’t be going on a honeymoon till April at the earliest. I’m in cosmetology school and can barely get 4 days off ffor the wedding without being dropped from my classes. *sob* I graduate at the end of March, so we’re thinking early April might be a good time to go.

Our good friends got married the weekend after us, so we took a quick minimoon for the 5 days in between and will take a longer 2week honeymoon early next year.  It gives us time to plan, time to accrue vacation days and more money!

Mr G-McD and I are doing the same as most of you are. After having to pay fr the wedding there was no way we were going to be able to afford going on a honeymoon. We are planning a nice trip though for our one year. We haven’t decided anything yet, but I know that we won’t be as stressed for money or time (with vacation time & all).
