I’m not that keen for a Hens night…I’m not a party girl and I live about 8 hours away from my home city and where all my friend live. I also don’t like being the centre of attention. A few friends have offered to fly up here for a Hens party but I don’t think it is worth the cost!
I might do a dinner in my home town cloer to our December wedding but can’t really be bothered with somthing extra to organise?
Is that bad? lol
My sister is my Maid/Matron of Honor and she is not very wedding focussed (which is fine) so she is leaning on me on advice and taking my lead.
Is anyone else out there not that fussed about a Hen’s party?

I didn’t have a hen party (and Darling Husband didn’t have a stag do) and I didn’t miss it. I love my girlfriends, I love going out and having a drink or two, but I don’t like all the attention that hen parties get and hen parties in the UK have quite a trashy reputation as well. It’s just not my style.

I’ve never heard of a Hen’s party before, what is it exactly? A bachelorette party?

Ah, ok. Then yes, I did have one. I think it’s perfectly fine to do a little girls night in your hometown. Dinner, maybe a cocktail or 2, and maybe you could all crash at one person’s house and do a movie night with snacks? Simple and without the fuss, but still a night to hang out with your girls.

I didn’t have one. My Matron of Honor took me to wine country for a weekend. I live in Vegas so all that stuff is always in my face. It’s just not me.

No ‘hen’ parties for me either! I would like to just go out for a nice dinner with some close friends though…
