I think that’s beautiful and romantic…..but if I started singing my Fiance would run the other way!!!! 🙂

If my Fiance did that to me, I’d be mortified and extremely embarrassed. Do you think he’ll take it well, honestly? If you’re 100% convinced, do it, if there’s any doubt, I say avoid.

I think it’s a very romantic gesture if you can sing- You should consider talking to local musicians who can work with you on writing a song just for him! If your going sappy romantic I say go all out! More power to ya!

@Tswife4ever: That sounds so sweet! Unfortunately, like PP, I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket so I don’t think the occasion would be a romantic one in my case lol. I think it sounds like an adorable idea if you are a gifted singer OR even if singing to eachother is something little you both like to do for eachother.

@photogestelle: I can’t imagine being mortified or embarrassed if my Fiance surprised me with a song (and he’s not Frank Sinatra, that’s for sure)…. but to each their own I guess.

I was considering this (granted I have a LONG time to go before I need to decide!!) but I think I will be too emotional. I was thinking of doing Sara Evans version of I Could Not Ask For More but I honestly think I would just start bawling, LOL!

@Sunshining:

haha I agree, my fiance can’t sing for diddly-poop but if he did it I’d break down in tears like a 60’s girl listening to the Beatles!

@Sunshining: Personal preference. I’m not one for being the centre of attention so it would make me uncomfortable. I just think that the OP needs to be really sensitive about this stuff.

Mountain Man has said he is either singing Im a Believer- or a duet with Elvis if he drops into the event…..

Fiance would be so embarassed, plus I can’t sing, so I would never do something like this.  But if it’s your thing, and you think he’ll like it, that’s awesome!  Do you guys have a special song that won’t be your first dance song?

I asked my Fiance about this the other day.  I can’t sing, he can, but I told him I’m not particularly interested in singing on our wedding day… he then thanked me and kissed me, haha.

That’s really sweet for you guys.  It’s just not for us, lol.

I’m going to record myself singing and walk down the aisle to it, to surprise him. I just haven’t decided on a song
