My hair is a little above my collar bone but that is about as long as I will let it get because after that it looks stringy and limp! I am thinking about having my hair dresser get some clip in type hair extension pieces just to wear for the night so I can get the look that I have been drooling over in wedding magazines! Is anyone doing this or has anyone done this?

I decided that I want to look like me on my wedding day, and that adding extensions was something that didn’t feel quite right for me. I’m hoping that my not-quite-collarbone-length hair is long enough for a modest updo, but I’m not holding out hope for anything that’ll work.

My sister is a stylist and she has gone this route with a number of her clients. My other sister wore them as a bridesmaid with her hair down, my sister’s friend had them added for some extra Ooomph in her updo. Both looked great. Make sure you go with a professional who uses them and can match your natural hair color well.

I had clip-on hair extensions put in for my wedding hair trial. Although the hair extension color is a little off, they will order the right shade for the day of my wedding. [attachment=209276,19878]

Ya i want to get some hair pieces so I may wear my hair like all the beautiful pics in the hair gallery on the bee! I don’t believe that adding a little help from the hair fairy will make me look like a different person, it will let me have the super elegant classic hair style I am going for. I will definetly be having my hair stylist do this for me for sure it’s my wedding day why would I want to do something like that myself.

I have long, but VERY fine hair that tends to go limp a few hours after being styled. I’d like to wear my hair down or half down on my wedding day, but my stylist and I knew that my hair would never have the right level of fullness w/o some help! So, we’re going to use clip-in extensions. To be honest, I never felt weird about using hair pieces on my wedding day. I figure….I’ll be wearing Spanx under my wedding gown, more makeup than usual, and fake eyelashes. I may as well go all in and borrow hair help too!
