I saw someone here last night who posted her aqua blue wedding dress, but I can’t remember the username.

I actually thought for awhile that I might do a mint green one, but it was a lehenga and those are actually usually much more colorful than just a pale green. 🙂 I was wimping out!

I fell in love with a light gray wedding dress and a black wedding dress but decided to go with white. Wish I was that brave!!!

Mine was light gold, which is a bit darker than ivory, but nothing crazy. I sorta wish I had gone with a light pink dress though! But, I wasn’t brave enough.

I saw a few in colors that I liked, and might have gone for, but in overal style, they were too "bridal" to wear again, which I think would be the best benefit to wearing a non-white dress.

My dress is burgundy and mauve!  The idea of wearing a white dress never really clicked with me.  So I was immediately gung ho on wearing red, which is my favorite color.

I really want one in a palest of pinks..or a silver.  Maybe a creamy gold?

I don’t think I look good in white.

Mine is a soft blush pink from Maggie Sottero.  The runner up was a mocha-coco.  My blush pink dress is so soft pink that in some light it appears white.

I love the idea of not wearing white… so far there is an off the rack gown that is black and white that I am eyeing up to use as a wedding dress

I wanted red b/c that’s traditional in India, but ended up with ivory with a gold petticoat (that shows) and mauve and gold brocade on the border and waistline.  In the end, the red satins and silks just didn’t pop on my skin.  I am wearing a red Indian lengha for our Indian event the night before.  Kind of a traditional Indian bridal outfit, though much simpler than the current fashions (though it’s what I would have picked if I were having a Hindu wedding also).
