I have straight hair and I’m wearing it up (I usually just wear it down), but consider this.  When I get a pro blow out it looks a MILLION times better than when I do my own, so I’m sure you’ll look fabulous, even if the general style is the same.  🙂

I always wear my hair down except for the same reasons you mentioned.  I am going to wear it with curls and the sides will be up as I just don’t want it in my face, otherwise the back is quite long…past my bra and I love the way long hair looks curled down someone back.  Don’t know why, but I dig it.  So I’m doin’ it!  :o)

I am wearing my hair very close to how I wear it a lot. I have very very thick hair so usually I wear it half up (similar to how carrie underwood wears her hair a lot) So i’m going to wear it like that on the wedding only much more polished and with the curls in much better shape then how they look day to day.

I am wearing my hair pretty much like I do every day.  I have naturally curly hair and my curls are big curls, so I’m pretty happy with them.  I’m just having it professionally curled the day of so that it can withstand the wind and salt water since we are having the ceremony on the beach.  I want to look like me when I get married, so that’s why I’m choosing to wear my hair like I normally do.  Plus, I think I look weird with my hair up since it’s so curly.  My trial is actually on Saturday! I’m excited!

I wear my hair down everyday and will also be wearing it down on my wedding:-) Like you said though, it will look more polished as well, with some more volume:-)

I was about to make another hair trial appt., to try something totally different, BUT then I remembered how I felt at the original bridal hair trial appt., where it was styled down..I felt like myself!

As for extensions.  I wear extensions all the time but I would never let them sew them into my hair.  First of all it is bloody expensive and also it hurts your hair.  I wear real human hair clip ins.  I lost alot of my thickness in an accident years ago so I wear them for a little bit of length and alot of thickness.  It fools everyone.  I even fooled a hairdresser once.  You would be amazed at how great they look.  They will run you about 100$ and since they are clip in you can use them again for a girls night out.  PM if you want more direction about where to get them and how to go about it.  I think the first inspriation pic you posted was adorable!

I am.  I just decided this week.  My hair is currently an a-line or inverted bob that’s grown out and barely touches my shoulders.  I was toying with the idea of wearing it in soft ringlets all over, done with a curling iron.  I did it the other day and it looked nice….   but it took FOREVER and honestly I just don’t want to mess with it on wedding day because I will be in another state and don’t want to stress over trying to find a stylist to help or getting friends with 3 curling irons going at once.

In the end I decided to go with my usual style.  It’s the style I feel comfy in and Fiance loves and it just requires a blow dryer and flat iron to look awesome.  It’s just “me” and I’m trying very hard to avoid the temptation to try and transform myself into some “other” person for the big day, if you know what I mean.  Prettier and dressed up? Sure! But not drastically different.

I MIGHT grow my bangs out some so I can have a side swept bang thing but that’s it (currently they’re just soft bangs, eyebrow length)..

I AM going to spend a ton on a good color though.  My DIY blonde is okay for everyday but I want a pro job this time with multi-tonal color, lowlights, all of that good stuff.

This will pretty much be my wedding day hair but with a tuller birdcage instead of this veil:

Anyway to each her own, of course, but I’m all about looking like an improved version of the normal me on my wedding day. 🙂

It MIGHT be pink though…. but that, too, is normal for me and not something just for the wedding.  I adore pale pastel pink hair and have had it several times.  I just consider it another variation on blonde and I figure if I get a real pro color first then it will just give me “multi-tonal” pale pink! yay!

At work, a lot of times I’ll do my hair with a side part and pull it back into a side bun….I want to do a similar style for my wedding (except obviously a lot fancier and nicer!) I think your hair will look beautiful if you wear it down like that! I would wear mine down but I get annoyed when its in my face!

I’m most likely going to have it down and with wavy curls. I plan on having one of those Brazilian Blowouts a week or two before so ym hair is super shiny and non-frizzy

I want my hair pinned back out of my face, but that’s it. I also want to make sure I look like me on my wedding day. I don’t want to get so spruced up that I’m not myself! Besides, I am more comfortable that way.

I am going the “look like me” route. Rob’s one request about my look was “please look like the woman I asked to marry me, not too much like a ‘Bride'”

The picture Ms. Blueberry Bee posted is the same one I am aiming for. Carrie Underwood is my hairspiration.

I’m really considering it.  I get compliments on my hair daily–and I’m not crazy about the idea of growing my hair out for ONE DAY (currently a little shorter than chin length and curly).  Since it’s shorter, there’s not a lot I can do with it…
