I’m looking for advice from other brides that have used large quantities of baby’s breath in centerpieces. I love the look of all baby’s breath pomanders atop tall candlesticks, but I’m worried the room will stink with 8-10 of them in there. If you have used babys breath before in these large quantities please let me know 🙂

@CHill1303: I found an old post on Weddingbee on this very topic, it seems that you can talk to your florist about the issue to see if they have a low-odor version of baby’s breath. Maybe you can have lightly-scented tea candles at each table if it really worries you…?
P.S. I’d never seen this idea, they look gorgeous!

Thanks. My florist says that you wouldn’t notice a smell unless you stuck your nose in it! I bought a bunch and did just that and didn’t smell any odor. He will be using a different type grown in Ecuador to get the fullness needed for the pictured centerpieces and offered to order some so we can smell it. Fingers crossed.

babys breath hardly had an odor… the smelly one is catnis.. like cat-pis lol
