@Bkeriopi:  I love bridesmaids in black!  Contrast in the bouquets would be key in this case.  What about sneaking blush into the bouquets?

I am wearing a black Bridesmaid or Best Man dress for my friend. I love it! Matches everything, I will definately wear it again, and the bride will stand out!

edit- her wedding is at the end of July And it’s outside lol. I’m okay with that though 🙂

Your venue is STUNNING!!!! Amd I agree with PP, if you make the bouqets light and the rest of the decor is light and summery I think it would be gorgeous and for sure something they would wear again

I wore a black bridesmaid dress in August in Florida. It didn’t seem odd at all; it was elegant and beautiful.

If you still aren’t sure, perhaps a dark navy??? 🙂  I agree with @minipenguin black working beautifully, just grab a lighter flower color 🙂

@Bkeriopi: God question. I’ve always liked black Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses but thought if it was me thinking about having a Summer wedding it would it put me in a quandary. Like the blush you posted and the Tiffany blue, though I am biased with the latter. I think short black Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses as they look classy would fit in with your venue as it looks lovely. You could go then for blush shades in the Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets for example.

@Bkeriopi:  no way! of course I’m a tad biased… we have a garden venue as well and I chose black floor length dresses for my girls!

I think black, white and red is a bit dark for June, but black bridesmaid dresses with a more colourful bouquet would look nice.. red and pink perhaps? Or red combines with fuschia and pinks?

I originally wanted black bridesmaids dresses and red rose bouquets (classic and simple) but I was vetoed. lol So I’m going to live vicariously through you and say GO FOR IT!
