Do you have a picture of the dress? Are you sure the bride or bridesmaids aren’t wearing blush? I think its probably ok, but for me if I had to ask someone if it is an ok color to wear to a wedding I would just skip it and pick something else because I would worry too much about it haha.

It sounds really pretty! I’d imagine it would be fine; brides are wearing so many different shades that they can’t say “no white, ivory, blush, cream, light mint, light blue…” I’m sure no one would even think twice about your color choice 🙂

Unless you know for sure that the bride is wearing blush, I’d say it’s fine. If you don’t know what color her dress is and it’s blush, too bad. That is the risk you take when you wear a colored dress.

I would be careful with blush, because it can photograph as white. It may appear blush in real life only to appear white on film.

I second about it photographing lighter. Are you in the family or close enough that you might be in formal shots? If yes, I’d avoid it. Otherwise probaly ok.

I think you should be fine. It’s not bridal at all. My rule of thumb is that if you know the wedding will be pretty traditional (ie. The brides dress will look like a wedding dress) then you should be fairly safe even if your dress is light in colour as long as it doesn’t look bridal at all. When it’s an untraditional wedding all bets are off.

It seems a bit too dressy to me, but weddings in our area are more causual and you hardly ever see guests wearing long dresses let alone an evening gown. You’d know better than us if you’d stick out like a sore thumb or not.  I don’t really care for blush in the winter, but since it’s metallic it gives it more of a winter look.
