I think they compliment each other very well without being too similar. I love them both! Option 1 would be my first choice.

ETA: can I ask where they came from?

I aggree, I love the dresses.  That said, do you have an busty bridesmaids?  Strapless can be a problem for girls with large chests.  It can really be boobalicious, which may not be something you want at your wedding.

I would argue that the deep v-neck can be more of an issue for busty girls than the strapless.  I find that strapless dresses work better for me, personally.

Either way, both of those dresses are gorgeous.  They won’t be too similar to your dress because they are a)short, and b) purple.

    Good choices!

@LNJohnson:  Hi date twin! Smile I like both dresses too!

I’d say let them choose between the two. I’d just want to make sure that at least 2 girls choose each dress (unless the Maid/Matron of Honor is the only one with a different style dress), or else it might look weird. I had my BMs choose their own (same color, length, store) and none chose a strapless. I was pretty surprised about that. One has a single strap, another spaghetti straps, and the third is doing a halter.

Maybe allow them to choose which ones they want? Have some in the strapless, some in the v-neck, it would solve your problem of matching your dress, and allow for some wiggle room for girls who might prefer deep vneck or strapless

I actually think the v-neck is too similar to your dress, and while they’re shorter and purple, your dress might not be the star of the show.

I do love the idea of a common fabric between your and their dresses. I really like the strapless bridesmaid dress.

I say option 1. I think the other one is too similar to yours.

That particular V neck is a little risque.  I love the strapless.

I like the contrast of the v-neck Bridesmaid or Best Man dress. And, really, no one is looking at anyone but YOU 😉

I voted strapless, in my opinion the v neck is almost identical to your wedding dress and wont let you as the bride stand out at all.

Both are very pretty but I’d definitely go with option one its much less like your wedding gown.
