I don’t think French manis are out of style but I do wonder if the French pedis put them into overload territory.

I will never understand the French pedis, anyway. Not in the west. Makes no sense to me to accentuate the length when we don’t value outgrowing our toenails in the first place.

?

NFLwidow:  Ewww TOTALLY agree. French pedis are the worst. And so are long toenails.

I’m not a fan of them anymore but my Fiance likes them. I got it done for engagement pics and I have to admit they look great in the pics. So I will be getting French done one more time for the wedding. If it wasn’t for him id do a nude pink, but he doesn’t ask for much or give his opinion about my nails very often, so I’m doing the French for him.

Never! I love the clean elegance of french manicures! As long as they aren’t big ole huge tips or decorated all silly.

I had a French manicure for my wedding, and on the very rare occasions when I get my nails done, that’s what I get. I love the look of them, ans they make my hands feel pretty. Perhaps they aren’t in style right now, but I’ve never really followed trends anyway, lol. I do whatever I want.

As PPhave said there is a way to do French manicures that’s just looks like natural healthy nails and I do t think it will ever got out of style i got that done for my wedding. What I really don’t see much of anymore is long fake looking acrylics with bright white tips

I think a French manicure will always be in style. It’s just one of those classic looks. I went for a little more glam on my wedding day and did ombré ballerina shaped nails with some bling and pearl bows  🙂 I created the design in my head and my nail girl brought it to life! I loved them..

My nail tech says no.  But I keep mine super short & they are my natural nails.

I think reverse manicures are more popular now. It’s been a really long time since I’ve seen a bride wearing a basic french manicure.

What is a reverse manicure?  Is that like an ombre?
