Burgundy is common in fall/winter but I don’t care and we are using it for my May wedding! It’s so elegent and red is my favorite color anyway.

Our colors are burgundy and gold. The bridesmaids will hold boquets that have a mix of burgundy, blush, and white flowers.

Is what you love appropriate for your wedding? Uhm… Absolutely!! I work in a bridal salon and it is way more common than you realize… People don’t really stick to seasonal color palettes anymore. I have had brides/bridesmaid’s show me tons of gorgeous pictures of deep colors used in both the spring and summer. You’ll be okay!

I plan on using pastel colors for a fall wedding 😉

I think so! March is right on that warm/cold border and I think it’ll be gorgeous. It’s such a flattering color on most people too.

waiitngbee86 :  I am getting married next March too and love burgandy/maroon for the bridesmaids dresses. This combo seems to be really popular lately. I think it looks so great with navy for the groomsmen’s suits and burgandy ties.

I think so. But I’m in ny and it’s currently snowing so it may also depend on your locale. In Florida it would be more out of place.
